Our school operates an “open door” policy. We are committed to working in partnership with families and our stakeholders which is why we value open dialogue.
There are times when parents / carers may have a concern. We always encourage parents to contact the school to discuss any concerns and we will endeavour to either resolve them or explain the rationale behind decisions made. In the first instance, speak to your child’s teacher at the end of the day or contact the office to request a return phone call. If your concern relates to SEND or difficulties your child is experiencing in learning, make an appointment to speak to the SENCo. If you are not satisfied with the response or wish to talk things through with one of the leadership team, make an appointment with the school office or email to request a conversation with a member of the senior leadership team.
Most problems can be resolved through talking but if you wish to take your concerns to a more formal level, refer to the Trust Complaints Policy. However, always be aware that partnerships and dialogue are often the fastest way to a satisfactory resolution.
